F1 2014

COTA this weekend, looks to be interesting in some not so great ways. Weather will be in the upper 70's so not too hot and there is little chance of rain but it does look to be a bit breezy.

Marussia and Caterham will not even be here and looks like Vettel will not participate in Quali due to an engine change, dunno if he starts from the back of the grid or pit lane.

Keep your thoughts for Jules, although there is no news he is likely still in an induced coma while his brain is healing.

Brazil is done congrats Nicole, Louis and Filipe!

You misspelled Louise. Link Removed

Double points make me much less interested in the last race, can't stand that sort of artifice. Not quite as bad as the current NASCAB debacle, but still pretty lame.

Did you go to COTA this year Brad? I still really want to catch a race of some sort there sooner than later.

F1 is becoming too "gimmicky". Double points is just the next silly thing. DRS, the noise megaphone they were testing a few races into this season because the stupid new engines do not sound "right", the titanium skids they were adding just create some sparks. Surprised they have not tried a Batmobile fake jet-flame exhaust thing for the rear.
About the only thing that they've done right in the passed few years is the qualifying format. That is quite cool...in my opinion.
