Those are all metal bands that, unless you're into modern metal, you most likely won't have heard of them, but they're all big news, except for Stephen Pearcy, he's a hack.

Nice list! BTBAM is one of my favorites...Dan Briggs is AMAZING.

The only real band of merit that I can really think of that I've played with is Freya, and if you're not big into hardcore, you've probably never heard of them. And if you have heard of them, then you probably understand why it was a big deal to me!

Funny thing about the temps,,, we were suppose to play for one hour and 15 mins. But when they saw that the crowd was digging us heavy they shut us down after 45 mins. Nobody likes to be upstaged I guess.. Lol

Oh I forgot.. We opened for Egyptian Lover and we got word that E.Lover's band got a flat tire so they weren't gonna be able to do the show. So our manager said we had to do the show. None of us knew lover's song list but that was no problem since the entire show was on DAT tape. So we just faked it as best we could. I got paid to fake keyboards all night! It was a blast.

I had a chance to talk with his Bassist before the show and I was asking him what material they might be doing, and if they were going to do anything from the Rebel Meets Rebel collaboration with Dimebag Derrell. He told me "I know the first song were going to play after that it's chase the rabbit, Mr. Coe will play what he wants and you better keep up!"

Coe has one of Derrell's guitars, it was a Dean that had a rebel flag finish that he would use for some songs. It was set up on the side of the stage in a stand while we were playing. I thought it was pretty cool to share the stage with Derrell's guitar.

I saw him play a show this summer. He didn't even have a bassist with him then; just another guitarist besides himself and a drummer. That was an intense show.

...Some of these folks were not very nice people, some were salt of the earth. Trower made me wish I was related to him...

We didn't open for, but played for Queensryche at the Prime Rib Palace in Belview (sp?) WA on Halloween of 1988...And Roger Fisher walked in for a set...That was a wild gig; I dressed as Ed Grimly...
