I was working for a radio station in Ottawa, and we had a little house band.

Anyway, one of the DJ's was a huge fan of The Lost Dogs. Guess who got to open, when he brought them in for an event?

My old band opened for the Marshall Tucker Band and Joan Jett & the Blackhearts. Joan Jett was lucky if she was 90 pounds soaking wet but she still scared me. Both gigs were great experiences for our band.

I remember when I opened for Men at Work... I mean I opened the elevator door for them so they could get out. Thank Ged they did not over the pizza box I was carrying to deliver to another guest of the hotel.
