FWIW - I placed orders with 3 vendors that advertised the 3012LF as 'in stock' at the $175 rate only to have them cancelled a couple of days later, and after they had charged my card. 2 vendors were from Amazon...
USSpeaker took my order but didn't have the driver in stock. They are drop shipping one from Eminence when Eminence is back in stock. That is quoted a 4 to 5 days. $25 in shipping from them so around $205 after all is said and done. PITA but I'll be more comfy with one sitting on the shelf just in case...

Oh, trust me, I have given Eric more injuries with my T-bird headstock than I have received! Once, during some out-of-sync headbanging, I literally banged his head with my headstock, and I am amazed that: A.) the headstock on my T-bird did not snap off and, B.) that I didn't see a torrent of blood gushing from Eric's forehead!
I did daze him right good (dropped his arms to his sides, staggered about, vacant stare...), but he lived. 
A few posts back, it looked like somebody was going to give it a try with 3/8" ply.
I'm waiting for an update to see if the extra labor in bracing is worth the weight savings.

Placed an order for 2 of those last week with them. Got an email later that day saying they were backordered and they estimated it to be 1-2 weeks before they would have them back in, but they then stated that was just an estimate. I emailed them about their website stating they had 13 in stock, and they replied with "we are in the process of updating our website." I canceled the order and found a dealer that actually had the 3015lf in stock, so I decided just to build the 1515/66 instead of the 1212/6.

actually; yes, enough to cancel. I had the $$$ set aside. I'll have to check with the better half but the budget for this was generated from selling my gear. Just had a baby so not much hope in getting the needed extra cash.

What were you budgeting the 3015LF for? It's $229 now and some have found them cheaper still at other places.
But I understand. I have four kids (two teenage boys that never stop eating) and I was going to put in a cheap mid instead of buying the 18Sound. I somehow found the cash for it anyway because this was a once in a lifetime build.
Man it is so worth it...even at the higher price now, it's still a steal. I won't ever need another cab.
I'm probably being a bit dramatic. I just wasn't anticipating this. Probably what I get for not following this thread like I used to. I just pop in occasionally to pick up on anything new...this isn't the "new" I was expecting.
I can probably sell some more gear/parts to generate the funds I need.

You should be able to find Arauco plywood down there cheaper than here since it originates in South America. Do they sell Eminence speakers down there locally?

The 18sound 6ND410 6" woofers are being sold for $130.00 at some stores. I found this on ebay and I thought it could be a good tip for you guys:

The midranges on eBay are $120 a pair + $30 shipping (presumably to the lower 48 US states)(*). So that's $75 ea.
To which you'd have to add shipping to Brazil for one of them. Do you know the shipping dimensions and weight of a single 6ND410? From the seller's photo it does not appear that the speaker comes in a box suitable for shipping. If double-boxing is required, additional costs accrue.
Presumably any import duties are paid at your end. Does Brazil require any paperwork be filled out at the sending end?
(*) The seller offers free pick-up in Philadelphia. Hence your best deal would be to find someone in Philly to split the pair with you. Barring that, I may be able to help. PM me.

Hi, my friend. Yes, I agree; it will probably need to be "double boxed". Will you buy from them soon? I can wait for someone from Philly, but we never know if there's anyone from there interested in buying this speaker. The seller accepts offers, so we can save at least a few bucks.
I usually send some instructions for the sellers to avoid problems with the Customs, so this isn't a problem.
In the worst case, I'll buy the alpha 6a...
