Has anyone run with a 15sub and a Headcase? Maybe biamped through an 800RB? I'm going to be rig shopping in about three months so I'm trying to get ideas now.
Not enough power IMO. And I'm not a loud guy... Think 300 into 8 at the low end.

I wasn't aware that the 15sub is an 8-ohm cab. What if it were done 4-ohm so it got the full 300?
Greenboy, what cabs do you personally use?
Interceptor Jim,
I moved your personal page link in the directory from 12/6 to 12/6cube.
I got a chance to do the punishment bracing test last night at a private party, with 700-800 watts potentially hitting the woofer. Though the informal "knuckle test" shows the bottom of the 12/6cube is suitably rigid, when I really started hitting the top of the amp with sustaining input signals that panel was the most active. Not buzzing, but definitely not as tight.
To be honest I don't know why I didn't have a brace there in the plans running from front to back because though that is usually the bottom, it's still going to waste less energy if it has the same rigidity as the top or side. Must have been distracted - or thinking some stupid thing about a few ounces of weight.
Me? - I'm going to add a runner there in mine, tapering at the bottom front to clear the woofer frame. Or a notched cross using two 1" to 1.25" sticks, that reaches most of the way to each side. At some point maybe I'll bother to draw it into the plan.
I'm planning a fearful build of my very own, but I can't decide what would be better for me: the 12/6 or 15/6? I've been playing bar/restaurant-sized gigs with 150-200 people, and a few larger gigs, some outside as well. My plan had been to start with a 12/6 and add a 15/6 or 15 sub if need be. Does this sound like a good way to go about it?
Thanks for any/all input!
What rig have you been using? Do you generally have PA support?
