A knife to the heart my friend, a knife to the heart.

Sweet basses. Are those those 70's J's like the ones that used to be at Guitar Trader?

I had the able to check out you red before I left . The Ray left the stable last week I did not really use the B string enough and the G&L is long gone . All I am left with is the Jazz and and the Reverend . I have been looking for the last year for a Jazz bass after checking out yours I am a sucker for Painted Head Stocks

OK here isn't a new bass, but a couple mods, fret crowning and a vintage guard and this thing feels like a new bass:

Took the Fender Lace sensors out along with the Kubicki/Fender Pre and replaced them with the Aguilar OBP-1 and a pair of Fender Marcus Miller pick-ups...

Probably. I was told it's an American Jazz Deluxe V. It's a '94, and it's got the Kubicki electronics and downsized body. Not a bad bass.

I could be wrong, but that is a JB Plus 5. My '94 JB Plus 4 looks just like it (all black though), plus it had those Kubicki controls at one point...

Just bagged and sold the guts to a TB'er. The OBP-1 and Marcus 4 p/ups really made this bass come along.

I like the 'fade' finish on your bass though... Real Nice.
