Fender CS LOTTO Telecaster Bass

Fender can kiss my ***!I just don't like how they are doing us musicians. The majority of us are blue-collar "working musicians" grinding it out in the bars.It appears to me that they like kicking a man when he's down, with the economy and all.No thanks,if I want a bass like that,I'll go to Warmoth w/$6,000.00 and have one made in a different color for each day of the week.

Really man, you should not come to this thread if all you're going to do is hate on Fender. Their kids need to eat too. This is to talk about the new Fender Telelcaster LOTTO bass. I understand your comments about the economy, and we're all feeling it, but some of us don't care to hear the bashing.

Go make your Warmoth and be happy. ;)

What would she look like in red??

Squier, Darkstars, Chi-Sonics.

Chi-Sonics are what's in the Lakland right? I suspect those would be out of my range for what I'd be willing to spend on a Frankenbass.

Double ditto for Darkstars. Would love to give those a whirl, but they're just too pricey (for me).

What would be ideal, would be the Fender TEB 101B Pickups used in the Squier VM Tele basses. That's a $300 bass, so how expensive can the pups be? The problem will be finding them. I've emailed the customer service folks at Squier to see if they sell replacement pups directly. If not, I'll call my local music store.

Second runner up pup-wise would be some gibson humbuckers as previously mentioned. These or some knock-offs would be super to easy to find.

Yup, dems da ones.

I get most Fender/Squier parts through a Fender repair tech.
