They both are great! Like them both about the same. I tune the P-Bass for standard and drop D with a Hipshot. Jazz I use tuned in Drop C and does a really good job at it. The Jazz gets played at every show. The P gets rotated in with my other basses.

NOS 1964 Customshop Jazz. Incredible tone and feel. Not much else I can say....

Wow - The post you quoted is almost 5 years old! How time flies! It hasn't aged heaps - mainly because I've done a heap of work with Cover bands over the last few years and been playing 5'ers.
There is some swirling on the PG and the Nitro has dulled a bit - very hard to photograph with my limited ability. This Bass has started to get some regular play again, since I have gone back to lessons (after 25years!!). I've go the action super low at the moment and it is playing like a dream!
Yeah, I know - I was searching through the thread and your NOS was a nice chance to witness the aging process. Does the finish have checkings and cracks?

MyNOS 59 CS precision. Always happy to show off my prized possession. Has a beautiful b&b 60's jazz neck to top her off. Pickups are amazing!
