It's a killer bass.

What do folks think this 65 in LPB is worth?

Doing a little pre work practice on my 63. Running through some Carpenters, John Mayer Trio, Doobie Brothers. Labella flats on an old P, not only sounds good but I think feel wise nothing is better on an old Fender.

What do folks think this 65 in LPB is worth?

12-13k ish if a sane person is selling it….

CME tax will be closer to 17-18k

So I guess we need to decide what we're going to consider pre-CBS for purposes of getting a Club number. Do we include only "purebred" basses with a cut-off date of 1964?

It spent its entire life in a Polka band - 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. Used on a bunch of polka albums. Many smoky rooms That’s the original case. I have the original “bill of sale” too.

It’s funny. Since buying this bass I joined a zydeco band. Since we have accordion we learned some polkas so we could take some Octoberfest gigs. The bass already knew how to play the polkas
