It would grow on any of us in pretty short order. Like, I hate green, but the first ancient P bass i ever played, at a festival was dark green and made me love green. Don’t know the year but it was old and a dream to play. Im sure yours would have the same effect on any of us.

So much truth to that. It's light, has a worn in neck, and plays great. All you can ask for.
 
A little crosspost but I think my new Jazz belongs here: 1960 Jazzbass. '80-s refin, just had a fretjob (it was needed!) and one knob is not original. Due to the neck being refinned the logo vanished. I ordered a new one. The bass playes unbelievable smooth and sounds dark and sings! So happy with it! Now I can change between basses, nice basses.
