My (June) 1962 slab board
 
I never got a number, posted a pic of my '61 Jazz back in late 2017 in this thread. Picking it up from the shop I had it refinished later this week, back to its original Olympic White finish:

64 Jazz bass. The bass was purchased used in 1971 when I was a teenager. Recently replaced the pots but otherwise original. It is very special to me.

Although usually a fan of maple boards, I really adore these dark, old, worn in rosewood fretboards! :thumbsup:, drool
 
Started again reading this thread and had already a question reading post nr. 1
@Mastermold: Is that the original 1964 hardshell case? My 60 J came in exactly the same case so I was wondering.

That case looks right for '64. '60 would have been brown tolex originally - through '62 - followed briefly by white/cream - then the black cases. My '59 P still had the tweed case (AND a very rarely seen original period Fender gigbag - made from the same brown tolex).
