Fender Rumble Club

Ummm...yeah ya do.
and don't forget to post pics...and that goes for ALL you Combo Chainers out there!
I also like your rig in the next post.
I like the look of the 200c or 500c or 210 cab on top of the 115 cab.
The two different sizes look cool together, plus the combos are a little taller than another 115 cab on top which would get the speakers closer to your head.

Just got my On Stage folding wedge in the mail today. Yet to be field tested, first impressions:

Price: 20 bucks. Cant beat that!
Size: Tiny! Folded, it's the size of an iPad. 6"x7". Opened up, it's about 4" high. The item description says it tilts back (up to) 30°.
Stability: surprisingly good! This was my biggest concern. Grips are sticky, and its reinforced with plastic, probably. It was quite hard to knock my 100c off, would take a real punk rock kick to upset this on stage.
Decoupling: we shall see.....

I did an outside, noon to 4PM gig today. 93 degrees, 102 'feel like'. Used the R200c/R112 with my EpiBird 5 string. Sounded bodacious and got lotta nice comments. This pic is from when I hooked all of these together-loud!

I love your Kasino. As I’ve said before, I had a 200 head and 2x15 cab. It was LOUD. Traded an early 60s Bassman blackface 50 and blown (weren’t they all) 2x12 cab with some cash for it back in ‘74. I actually talked to an old timer in Owens Music in Santa Maria a couple of weeks ago who, it turns out, had my 50 until he sold it in the early nineties for $350. I’d like to think it’s still out there somewhere. Last I knew of the Kasino, it was in Montana (or Michigan?) in the mid-eighties. Wish I’d kept both of them.

Have not posted in a while but I had the pleasure of playing with up and coming Country Start Elizabeth Mary for a few big gigs. The biggest of all being that we opened for Clint Black at America's River Festival in Dubuque Iowa!!. As any of you know that have seen me post. I use a Rumble Studio stacked on top of a V3 Rumble 40!!! I connect these by going out the effects send from the Studio to the input of the V3. I found that setup on this site. This setup has worked so well for me this past year and it did not disappoint for this gig!!! The only thing that was weird is the FOH said it was the hottest signal that he has ever gotten from a bass. I have not had that complaint from any other FOH so I think it was a fluke or something on their end, but want to see if anyone has seen that from the XLR out. My setting are as follows.
Studio 40 I use preset 27 as it was set at the factory and run the volume around 12 o'clock on the V3 40 I run everything but the bass at 12: o'clock. Bass I have set at about 9. run out of the DI on the v3 to FOH. I do not engage any of the preset(vintage....)
Anyway wanted to get everyone's thoughts. I have included some pics and a link here so you can see what it sounded like.

She’s talented! And cute. Looks like you’re having a blast.

Just a tip regarding the overdrive button, I have found it sounds best with low gain, with the gain too high the tone doesn't really cut through but I was using the overdrive last night at rehearsal and found that if I turn the overdrive gain all the way down it adds a little bite and drive without going into fuzz territory and cuts through rather than getting lost in the mix, you get a nice slightly dirty tone.

All this talk about stands and stabilizer racks for unconventional stacks has me thinking I could be putting my long cycles to better use at work. I've already started designing something to keep my dream of a sideways Stage 800 and 2x10 cab on top of a 1x15 cab dream from blowing itself off of a stage. Ideally utilizing the stock castors on the 1x15 with a folding rear stabilizer. I think I can find a way to compress the vertical support on the cabs so it can come apart into two pieces for easy transport. Was gonna just order some 3/4'' plastic and cut some 1"x14'' spacers for between the cabs but I'm not a risk taker. Either way, I intend to keep the factory feet on the combo and the 2x10 for alternate setups and potential warranty concerns lol. The amps are so light that the design options are pretty vast. I wasn't going to draw up a CAD but might just for the purpose of posting here.
If I have to make more than one I'll probably have to pay for the tubing... just say'n.

Had my first experience with a full - best of the best, professional, super expensive amp rig today... a a big ampeg cab, and a Mesa engineering head. Wow! It was so crisp and punchy, it made u stick out in the mix where it needed, and had a nice not too low bass to it that smoothened things out.

Part of my is curious if a rumble head and cab of equal or close enough speaker config and watts, would perform the same way?

Anyone else experienced similar?
