Fender Rumble Club

I may be looking to sell my R112v3. It's been sitting, gathering dust on the custom heavy duty cover for nearly a year now and I see no future use for it. The biggest problem is gonna be the cost of shipping-probably~$100+. I just hate to see it going to waste sitting under my dining room table. It's not listed-yet-I'm still thinking about it, but I don't need it and somebody might. If I 'need' the extra fullness I can daisy chain my R100/R200C, but the way the live music biz is looking around here that seems doubtful at best.
I received a kora (African harp) via Greyhound Bus Lines. It was quite a cheap alternative way to send.

Hmm. I'll check it out.
So I looked it up. $15 more than ups or usps and I'd hafta drive 35 miles to drop it off(no facility in my city). But thanks.

If you want to sell, do so with the provision that buyer pays for shipping. Contact your nearest UPS facility with the weight and have them quote on them packaging, insurance and shipping. That way, you only have to drop it off. These are selling at a premium since they are discontinued. I do believe the buyers would pay the extra. If not, sell it for local pickup or wait for better times, IMHO.

Yeah, I calculated the shipping x-country online, UPS, USPS. ~$125 to LA, for example.

Just posted: For Sale - Rumble 112v3 Bass Cabinet $10 off for Rumble Club members.
Six months ago, I'd have jumped on this. I was looking. But now that I've had some more time to think about things? I figure the best way to add a Rumble 12" to my collection is to just go ahead a buy a 100 combo to go between my 40 and 200.

And I'm also considering spending stupid money on a Lehle P-Split III instead of a cheapo mechanical ABY switch.

I play in an occasional jazz/standards quartet and we had our first play in a garden today since March. Despite layers of rust, it was great to be back at it.
I mention this as we had to cobble gear together to make it happen as it was rather impromptu, and our singer ended up plugging his Shure mic directly into the input of a Rumble 40. I was amazed how well it amplified his voice (perhaps I shouldn't have been amazed) both in terms of volume and tone. Input gain at about 12. Nice one R40, another string to your bow. Anyone else used a Rumble for vocals?

I’ve used my 200c with 15” as a guitar amp. My Les Paul sounds great through it! Rumble bass amps are one of the best products Fender ever produced!

Gigging again. Must feel most excellent! Good thing his mic didn't need phantom power.

I also use my R40 for guitar (both electric and acoustic/electric nylon string) and it sounds great. But I haven't used it for vocals. I'm glad it worked out, and I envy your gigging, @NHM.

I already know what to improve, which is cool to see when you see yourself playing :)
Yes - you learn alot about your technique (and other stuff) when you see yourself playing in a video. Unfortunately, first time I saw myself I realized I have this thing going on with my tongue that I was unaware I was doing! :p:bag:o_O Actually, I guess it was fortunate to find out as I've corrected that behavior :)

Question for Rumble users... I recently acquired a new Rumble 40. I noticed that when I plug in an aux source - phone or laptop - the volume of the bass signal drops noticeably. It does this through the speaker as well as headphones. Curious if this is a "feature" I never noticed in the last one I had, or if I have a defect. I emailed Fender a couple weeks ago and their response was a non-response with more questions requesting video evidence. Appreciate it if someone could test this out on their Rumble and let me know. I still have time to return to Sam Ash. Thank you!

That is not normal. I have a 40 and have not experienced that problem.
