OR you could hook up your XLR Line Out to a recorder and see what the Pre switch sounds like that way, Bdoggy.​

Yes, Rich, I believe the block diagram for all Rumble 100s, and 150s, and others, are very similar in placement of the Master, or Volume, control. Although the manual for the 2005 V1 Rumble 100 doesn't have a block diagram, the manual for the 2010 V2 Rumble 150 & 350 does have one that's very similar.

The Rumble 800 HD is a very special new design that was released in 2019 after 14 years of feedback from some Rumble users requesting the new placement of the Master control and tbe addition of the Pre/Post switch. Fender does listen to its customers.

Wonder if there'll be any new Fender bass amps at Summer NAMM this week?

G-Dog has exposed a weakness. Attack! Not one, but TWO lefties coming at you!

I got into this band back in '96/'97. Saw them live once in Sydney, AUS while on a business trip. The lead singer and guitarist on the shell pink Tele is Shane Pacey. The bassist is Alan Britton. They are the two remaining original members.

Lefties? Hmmm, let's see ... ... I'm very happily married for 38 years to one. Two of our beautiful five kids are lefties. Uh, ... hmph, don't know about the grandkids! Shame on me!! And my favorite bassist? McCartney! :cool:

I even tried very early in my guitar career, for several weeks, to see if I could possibly play left handed myself, though without any proper lefty instrument. It was a disaster! So, to the lefties who can even somewhat play righty in a pinch, like Sir Paul can, my hat's off to you! :thumbsup:

My Rumble 115 cabinet came with casters and I love them. I see the Rumble 410 is shown with casters as well. Can anyone tell me if the other cabs or combos come with casters. They are heavy enough to warrant it. I guess the 200 combo and the 500 combo and the 210 cabs would be the ones in question. The 100 combo and below are feather weights.

Right know, I have my R200c on it's side and on top of the R115 cab with casters. I can move these around easily, even on carpet. If I ever get to play out with just the R200c, I will look into adding casters or just use a cart.

Just upgraded to a Rumble 500 combo! I'm playing an outdoor gig on 7/26 and since this is the first time gigging out in nearly 2 years (and my first official gig playing bass instead of drums or guitar), I decided to treat myself! I also picked up a Korg PitchBlack rack tuner and a Warm Audio WA76 compressor. I can't wait, this is going to be EPIC!

I was going to get just the amp, but I just haven't been happy with my Keeley Compressor Pro on bass. Everyone seems to rave about the WA76, so I figured, why not?

I'm curious as to where everyone else runs their compressor with their Rumbles...before the input or in the effects loop? I'm thinking I may run it before the input, just so I can crank it and get some drive and coloration out of the transformer before it hits the preamp. Thoughts?

I use a Bass Preacher into direct box then into the instrument input on my Rumble 100. If I need to adjust my volume in the PA then I use the volume on compressor and adjust the Rumble accordingly. If I just need to adjust my stage volume then I use the master volume on the amp and since the signal is already split it doesn't change the PA level.

Yes, depending on the venue and whether or not you want the "floor coupling" without casters. Depending on type of floor, that coupling can give more "boom", or "thump", on hollow stages.

I used to routinely remove just the back 2 casters on my heavy Bassman 250 115, more for the slight tilt-back to help "aim" up at my ears. But on some hollow stages I put 'em back on! Then on other stages I took all four off. It depended on the sound of each.

With my lightweight R500c I often use an amp stand to lift and tilt it back. Otherwise, without casters, it just sits flat on the floor. But, I feel like the extra power can usually help me compensate for whatever the venue dishes out.

Can any Stage 800 users help please; I’m trying to find out if the XLR out is affected by the master volume control. I just read it can be changed to pre EQ, but then you’d lose all your effects through FOH? Can you send an effected signal to FOH with the XLR output to unity and use master to control only the combo volume? Asking as I want to use it as my stage monitor, whilst sending the processed signal to the PA to provide sound out front.
