Fender Rumble Club

Front passenger seat!
I rented a convertible once while on a business trip to Hawaii and took my golf clubs with me. I had a hard case at the time. When the bus dropped me off at the car, there were a couple of Avis guys sitting on a bench in front of the car. I leaned the passenger seat full back and put the golf club case there. One guy asked me what was in the case. It looked kind of like a casket, so I said "my grandmother; I take her with me everywhere." Never seen two guys carrying that much weight move that fast. :roflmao:

Brilliant! Sounds like something you'd see on Candid Camera.

Is the Fender Bumble a distant cousin of the Fender Rumble there A Nooby? lol
You know, your post is now a quote of a quote of a quote. I have no such device. The good Doctor, aka @Doctor Morbius is apparently the proud papa of this fantastic creature. I suggest we interview him as to the parentage of the so named “Bumble 500”. I’m sure it’s a riveting story. Full of mystery, intrigue and exotic locales. Either that or a silly auto correction. So tell us…
What’s up Doc?

Or it could be a ubiquitous typo, such as my (seeming) favorite "Rumbke" that I just discovered I have blessed The Club with 6, count 'em, six, times! I usually try to manually spell check my posts, but these slipped through. While 5 other users have each done it just once! Scratch that, those other 5 users were quoting me!

They are each 16 ohm, 175 watts continuous rated (though 400 watt field tested), ceramic ferrite magnets, special USA OEM designed, manufactured in China. They are not a stock Eminence model available to the public. If you're looking for replacement, you can either consult an Authorized Fender Service Center for the real thing, or you can call the phone number and ask what their nearest stock model is.

Giffy is right. The Speaker Replacement section of your Rumble Club Wiki page has some others' adventures in this area. :D
.
Thank you. I was wondering if they may be a Chinese version of an American product, but it seems they aren't. And it seems the specs of the driver aren't specified that I can see.

I don't have any intentions of replacing them as their magnet structure seems beefy enough and they sound decent, IMO.

Thank you for your help.

Also, I'll wear my Rumble Club number as a badge of honor!

The Fender Bumble is an upscale version of the Rumble that is made with Exotic Matter found in only the finest Einstein-Rosen bridges.

In other words, it wasn't a typo on my part. I just like being silly. :hyper:

Cool! I wish I had some clever, creative way to explain away my "Rumbke". (sigh)

Well, there are those who might consider the Rumbles to be Chinese versions of the Fender Bassman, with fewer bells and whistles, except there are currently not any Bassman combos being made, and no tubes in any Rumbles. So, ... not really a good metaphor.

Sorry, I didn't make myself clear. I was thinking the Chinese EMI drivers may have been Chinese versions of EMI Legends or something in their American lineup. So I only meant the drivers themselves, and not the amps, cab, etc.

I see! So whereas our mortal Rumbles are assembled by mere mortals, the Bumble line is crafted by Asgardians in collaboration with Keebler elves, using only the finest Unobtanium and unicorn farts.

I must have one….

Indeed. Thor was the production manager!

And not just any unicorn farts, but the certified ones. Not those horse fart knockoffs you see on Ebay and Amazon. No sir! ;)

I know the name. Can’t say I’m all that familiar with his work though.
He was a comedian in the 1960s and '70s whose routine consisted of him talking about stuff going on in his life, and he would use the wrong words in wacky places in his sentences. I think they call that a malapropism. A bit hard to describe, but he was pretty funny.
