Oops! YASM (Yet Another Senior Moment). I SO wanted an 8x10 Stage 800....
Je t'en prie! How do you like that? Port dressing, tubes and acoustic fill!?! Who'd a thunk it?
But be careful, and don't overload that metaphorical Rumble Stage 800 with 3 Rumble 2x10 cabs. With its internal speakers that's a 2 ohm load total and just a bit too much, lest the magic smoke appear. The Rumble 800 HD head can handle a 2 ohm total load (4 x 2x10 cabs!), but the Stage and the new non-modeling Rumble 800 COMBO can "only" handle 2 2x10 Rumble cabs all night long. Still, none too shabby!

... so today i've been experimenting with my old LDS 15/6 { 8 ohm }cab
as an extension speaker for the Rumble .
at the full 800 watts @ 4 ohms , this thing is loud as heck
and the LDS gives it serious thump ...
should be very gig-worthy , imo .

I am going to an acoustic jam next week and I want to bring a bass and amp. I really didn't want to take my Rumble 100 and my Rumble 15 rattles even at low volumes. I'd get a Rumblle 40, but it seems like it really isn't much smaller than the 100 that I already own. I was looking online and came across this article and thought I'd share it even if it might have been shared before. What a great review of the legendary Rumble 40.

The 40 has met all my needs including gigs and practices. And of course it’s light as a feather (almost).
I have had the R25C, RStudio40c and R200C. For price, sound, size and weight, the R100C ticks most of my boxes. I don't need a heavy-weight, gigging combo...just a good Fender tone-stack for recording or jamming. If I needed something more, it would be a second R100C or an R500C.
I still have a R115 cab that I would not sell for the overly discounted prices being advertised. It is worth much more than that IMHO.
My R100 is my 'go to' amp for almost all our venues('cept the restaurant/lounge where I use the R40).
I don't need a second 100 since I have my 200c, but "one o' these days..."
Very limited space in a small car with several of us going.
Did a small private gig Friday evening, for about 60 people. I was part of a trio put together for the occasion. Acoustic guitar, bass and vocals. Took my Studio 40, which performed brilliantly. First time I’ve used it on a gig. The guitar and vocals went through the PA, the bass through my Studio 40. Sounded great, and more than enough power, even though the room was fairly big.
Yes, Greg, that IS a great review! Thanks for sharing it again. (Really! I'm serious!) Reading it again and again never gets old for most of us Rumblers. And, yes, it is also included in the Rumble V3 Reviews section of your Rumble Club Wiki page under the link entitled "Best Bass Practice Amp (Group Shootout) on BassBuzz 2018".
And you're right, Greg, that the Rumble 40 isn't that much smaller than the Rumble 100, at least it doesn't sound like it! The R40 is just 3 lb.s less than the R100, and about 0.4 cu. ft. smaller. And they both sound like much more than their power ratings.
I'd like to encourage all of our Rumbling brethren and sistren to follow GregT's example in this and share any Rumble articles you may find with The Club here. If your Wiki depended on me alone to find all its information it wouldn't have very much. It is all you helpful and sharing Rumblers out there around the world that make This Club, and your Wiki, what it is. And I most humbly and gratefully congratulate you, and thank you all, for it.
