Fender Rumble Club

... now they have been added to the Rumble Frequencies wiki page ...
I know that, of course ;)
My thought was, assuming 10 2 2 10 is flat within the preamp, what difference would the cab make. Would the 12 dampen more of this frequency and the 10 of that,... you get the point. But I think you are right that that would be rather difficult to
achieve because there are so much more factors that influence sound.
I like to set my amp without looking at the knobs anyway. I think it distracts more than it helps in many situations.

Any of you guys/gals run two amps stereo ? Not chained but one amp as it's own channel ?

I know it can be done but just curious how you go about it if you do.

When I had two amps I used my aby to do it. Opened up all sorts of possibilities. My favorite way was running one amp dry/clean and the second one with overdrive.

I did this at home but did use them that way in an originals band rehearsal and the band liked it. But that was right before the pandemic so the band fell apart.

Anyhow I'm considering getting two Rumble 40 amps and taking advantage of stereo effects. Might get a Boss GTB-1 for fun. Would still get the added volume that chaining two amps would allow but more tonal options.
I did that with guitar but haven't tried with bass. I have toyed with the idea but haven’t had a great use case yet.

Specifically, outside of recording or small rooms, it seems you wouldn't get the stereo definition with bass you would with higher registered instruments (unless you only played higher notes) simply because bass frequencies are more omnidirectional. It'd be fun to try, though. One could run dry vs <your favorite pedals>, stereo tremolo, neck vs bridge, etc. Even though it would be more subtle, it might be cool in the right circumstances.

Hi there,
I was a Rumble 25 owner until one week ago, then I had the opportunity to buy a used Rumble 100 v3, and sell my 25 the same day. The day after someone in my area (Paris, France) was selling an Eminence basslite s2012 for just 50 euros and I couldn't resist to buy it for a speaker upgrade.
I'm Italian, I play bass since 2021 and as I already said, live in France.
I would like to become a member of the big family of the Fender Rumble Club.
Merry X-bass and happy new bass year wishes to you all.

Ciao y Bonjour, Max! @maxmerx, you are now member #1807 in the Fender Rumble Club. Congratulations and welcome. Put that number in your TalkBass Signature for safe keeping. Then make yourself at home here and on your Rumble Club Wiki page, the repository of all Rumbling wisdom and knowledge.

And a very Merry X-bass and Happy New Bass year to you, too! That S2012 does 'sound' like a quite an upgrade. See the Rumble Speaker Replacements section of your Rumble Wiki page for others' previous replacement escapades.

So, please tell us a bit about yourself, max, such as your bass experience in general and your Rumble journey in particular. You'll fit right in here since we have all kinds. But we all love to ... ... ...

Rumble On!
.

Congratulations. I think you'll find the Basslite a significant upgrade to the stock speaker, but know that it introduces a high mid boost - although this can easily be dialed out if you don't like it. Also, consider lining a portion of the cabinet while you have the speaker out. That seems to help tighten things up as well.

Two Rumble 100s in their natural environment. You can tell they’re thriving because of the blooms.
