Fender Rumble Club

Yup. The next survey should be how many Rumbles people own. Based on this survey and following club posts for a while, the average is at least 2 (for people here).
One R500c, one R200c and two R100:s. Those are my band rehearsal and gigging amps. I play in 3 different bands.
At home, always ready to go, I have my LT25 and even a small R15, mainly used for my drum machine.

Swindon. Home of the Supermarine FC and the Magic Roundabout, which I had to navigate once when I got lost looking for my hotel. It took several London Prides to wash down the shock of that experience.
That's a 2d roller coaster! You could get lost in there and never come out. They'd write a song about it, a non-political version of M.T.A.

Since we're bypassing the formal poll (which doesn't give us the matrix we need, anyway), I have three Rumble 100 v3s, although one has a noisy PS so I just use it as a stand. So 2x100 in terms of actual sound amplification. Normally daisy chained for a fuller sound when playing out, but I just practice with one.

I've wondered about that for quite some time, Basslie. The 3 smallest Rumble combos do seem intended for specific uses. But, the On/Off Overdrive of the 25 has always seemed to me a fairly limited feature. As you've found out, it's level doesn't match the undriven level and it has no adjustment! Certainly not the best for turning on & off during a song!! That's why I consider the Rumble 40, with the full set of controls, to be the minimum gigging amp.

Basslie, could you turn down the volume on your bass when switching on the Overdrive? (And then turn it back up when switching it off.) You see pro musicians making such mid-song adjustments all the time.

@joeLowB & @steve_kyle, do either of you have a workaround for "leveling out" your 25's Overdrive?
I have gigged with a 40, with a house PA of course, but it worked.

The 40 has been my main amp for a few years. I am mostly playing quieter church stuff, so it works there. I use the XLR to connect to the house PA and it is decent as a monitor. It lived in the trunk of my Hyundai Sonata for a couple of years so I would always have it handy. Then I wrecked that car a couple of months ago. The amp survived without damage. I am debating upgrading to a slightly larger 100 as a practice amp, and the one of the larger ones as a just incase I need more amp. Because I like 10s the 500 combo is a likely option for this.

Yes. The one gig I played running R200c>R112 cab I had exactly the sound I wanted. That was the only venue where it was "needed";) and when I got a chance to sell it-at a slight profit-I let it go to someone who was desperately looking for one.(it hadn't been outta the house for close to a year)
I have 2 gigs coming up-10/14, 10/15-where I'll be using the 200c for the first time in almost a year. The R100(or R40) has sufficed for everything else. Here's the pic I took for you @JakobT one more time.
R112 "in the wild":

EDIT: I should prolly plug in the 200c and see if it still works. Prolly wake up some spiders or something.[it is Florida ya know]
UPDATE: Tested works fine-sounds gooder than I remembered
200c, 40, 100-in that order. 100 is most played.
Goner, I do believe that your dearly departed R112 cab also still counts! 👍
That would be "have owned", not "own", the latter being the intent of this totally informal poll...
Valid point. It's been so long I kinda fuggeddaoutit

Gone but not forgotten.
