Hey there Rumblers! I now have my Rumble 800 combo. Started out with a Rumble 100, then 500, then went the head/cab route and meh - so got me one of those nice and light 800 combos and loving it.Tally-ho, gill-man! @gillybass, you are now member #1839 in the Fender Rumble Club. Congratulations and welcome! Put that number in your TalkBass Signature for safe keeping. Then make yourself at home here and on your Rumble Club Wiki page, the repository of all Rumbling wisdom and knowledge.
How about telling us a bit about yourself, such as your bass experience in general and your Rumble journey in particular? You're bound to fit right in here since we have all kinds. But we all love to ... ... ...
Rumble On!
I play at two different church services:, one on Sunday, once per month or so; and another during the week about 2x per month). Both CCM with other good musicans, which has really helped me of course. The Sunday service is well attended (two services) and good tech. Both locations are quiet stages using IEMs and self-mix monitor.
Also with a friend (sometimes more than one makes it) some friends for a weekjust about weekly.
Bass playing got serious/made some progress is late 2023. Been making progress ever since.
Been on a pedal journey lately, and getting that all worked out. Pedalboard finally coming together as I like.
Enjoy the board, really good input from everyone. Always learning a lot at TalkBass in general, and all the particular forums and threads.
Thanks to everyone and rock on -
