Does anyone have a rumble 200 head with 2x12's stack .. wonder how it sounds ..... i currently own a 200 w combo and im thinking of selling it n buying a separate head with 2 cabs ....
Thanks .... very helpfulI've tried the Rumble 500 combo and the 500 head with the v3 115 cabinet, and I find the 500 head into two v3 112 cabinets to be the most articulate and balanced of the different combinations. Depending on your volume needs the 200 head should sound the same as the 500 head...
Bob
Angeline Saris has played it! But she's not talking. Tom Bowlus knows, but he's not talking either. I found out that Fender does not participate in Summer NAMM so not June in Nashville.Has anyone heard any news about what Fender might bring out this summer for bass amplification??

Well said, Bob!I find the 500 head into two v3 112 cabinets to be the most articulate and balanced of the different combinations. Depending on your volume needs the 200 head should sound the same as the 500 head

Maybe Angeline or Tom would be open to a bribe to leak some info...![]()
Let's start some far out rumors then make them eliminate one by one till we get to the truthMaybe Angeline or Tom would be open to a bribe to leak some info...![]()
If I were spending my own money, I would add the Rumble 115 cab to the R200 combo.I have been playing with the single 15" speaker (200w combo) knowing i only get about 140 watts and had no issues ... may be full 200 watts with 2 12" speakers will b perfect ...
I forget who breezed in here one day with a photo of a Bassman 500 head on top of a pair of Rumble 115's. As so many do grab a number and go. Anyway that will be a killer rig, and the Rumble 200 combo will be a very complimentary practice & small gig amp.If I were spending my own money, I would add the Rumble 115 cab to the R200 combo.
Wait! I did do that!
I am spending my 2015 IRS refund on a Bassman 500 hybrid head and an extra 115.
I have never ever been accused of showing any restraint whatsoever.
I hope it's an electric car and digital modeling amp combo. Just drive it right in the venue and up on stage. Plug 'n' Play at it's Finest!LOL! Hey, when I say I won't disclose, then I won't disclose.
But, I will say that I WANT ONE!![]()
And Bill Glen is a movie director.Excuse me for getting my Hughes mixed up. Bill Hughes is the engineer, and Glenn Hughes is a bass player.

I am spending my 2015 IRS refund on a Bassman 500 hybrid head and an extra 115. That money should hit at about the same time as Guitar Center's 15%-off coupon on Memorial Day weekend. Coincidence or merely a remarkable concurrence of events without apparent causal connection?![]()

Oh we know this sooo well;-)If I were spending my own money, I would add the Rumble 115 cab to the R200 combo.

And Hugh Hughes is a painter.
Glad we got that all straightened out.
