My 1975 Super Twin is mounted in the Mojotone cab that John linked:

It originally came with the silver baffle shown above, but I changed it over to black and added a mid-70's Fender logo, to more closely match the original Super Twin look:

I think JohnK's look captures the classic Fender vibe much better, though.

I can get the preamp on mine to break up with no problem, but I've really got to crank it up for power tube distortion.

If you want one, the Super Twins are still out there. Hey, I got mine on TB!

How much wattage do these things put out to a 8 ohm cab? I've been running it through my SWR 4x10 (8 ohms) and I'm kind of surprised how little headroom I have with it, its similar to the headroom of my old V4 which is only 100 watts..

When I crank the output it does not seem to be giving me too much crunch but I run out of clean headroom in the preamp rather quickly, around 4 on the dial..

Also it seems the treble is kind of harsh.. maybe I need to have it checked up by a tech? Hasn't been to one in awhile

IMO, either your amp isn't running to spec, or the cab isn't a good match for the head. besides that, a 4 ohm cab is best suited for the supertwin.

I'm using a 4 ohm cab (the Fender 215 Pro shown above) and have plenty of headroom. Depending on how hot my input signal is, though, I can start getting some preamp grind at 4 or 5 on the gain ("Volume") knob.

there's a chance that the inductor for the 110hz band is open or possibly came loose. that's an easy thing to troubleshoot.

i run the rotary eq basically flat and run the bass at 6-7, mids at 6-7, and treble at 6-7 with the presence switch out

nope. i don't really have the desire to, but i wouldn't mind trying the new 300.
