Sorry you got taken on a bad deal...

However, most normal people don't just roll over and accept they've been scammed unless there's a little something more to the story than they're letting on based on my own experience in business dealings. To just show up with a tale of grief and woe without seeking a remedy makes me wonder more than just a little...especially when you start getting defensive and begin saying things like "owe you nothing" to the people who have given you the courtesy of listening to your account. If your intention was to suffer in silence, why did you bother to post in a public web forum the first place?

Suffice to say your "decision' is a little odd and may raise issues with some of us regarding your own credibility.

Also, in a self-policing community like TB, you most certainly do owe your fellow members something if you've gone so far as to semi-out somebody in public like you have here. Just sayin'
I agree so PM me and I'll let you know who he is

They have and I also am waiting on what can be done.
Can't believe all the repeat posts about contacting the mods and outing the bad apple in the barrel!....

OP has repeatedly said that he HAS contacted the mods AND that he'd tell you who did him wrong if you PM him!!!....

Is it groundhog day or something?.....:beaver::beaver::beaver:

I'm very sorry to hear that, but doing nothing would only help this person keep doing the same thing over and over. If I were you, I'd expose the person so that at least he/she won't have the same courage to do that again here on TB. But I'd try to get a refund first, not sure how a safe refund can be accomplished.. With all my respect to your decisions, I think doing nothing would be the worst.

That's because lots don't read all the posts start to finish and also why outing him here publicly is a poor idea because too many want to publicly attack. Just PM and you will know who he is. Why is that so hard.

Then you completely nothing about N3 pickups and the deluxe preamp setup that's on it.
Not sure why anyone would preamp a '74 jazz. I do know about the N3 pickups. Sorry you got burned. I would think if you possibly paid with PayPal you might have some recourse. Maybe this dude's 100% rating was all a build up to the perfect scam. Sorry you lost a Cirrus for a turd.

It would be interesting to invite the 'accused' here to participate and hear his side, you know, being impartial and all that.
The rest of us can be Judge, Jury , and Executioner.

Sorry to hear about your bad transaction. I looked up the individual, and he has been a member for a long time with all positive feedback, so I find that hard to believe that he would/could scam you but alas, he obviously did.

I deal on TB because of the community spirit here and his profile is one that I too would have trusted to be truthful.

I have had many transactions here on TB and all have been excellent which is why I continue to be a TB member. Sorry you had to find the dud.

Good Luck!
