First love broke my heart

This is like the "Crazy Girlfriend" thread, but from the reverse perspective and with a dude.

I love it.

Derp, you need to get this girl. If you were this in live after one day, clearly she is the one for you. Send her one of your fingers to show your dedication. Women love dedication.

But I'd only do the pinky. I wouldn't try any other finger until you're sure she likes you back

I think everyone is being a little harsh to you Derp, I honestly don't think you made any egregious error in your courting procedure. If this exact same story happened in 1950, it would be romantic. I mean think about it, how many times have we all heard stories about how grandpa asked out grandma every single day for 3 months until she finally said yes just to shut him up, then they end up getting married and staying together for 60 years.

And another thing, it doesn't matter if you're 15 or 51, your feelings and emotions are genuine and there is no such thing as a wise man in love, so anyone who tells you're being "immature" is just being an idiot. Hindsight is 20/20 and the fact of the matter is, we have all been lovesick at one time or another, it will pass my friend, just keep your cool.

OP, you're 15... Believe it or not, everyone goes through it. You probably feel like it's the end of the world, trust me, it isn't. You'll move past this (as you seem to be doing already as of recent posts).

Dating is a process of elimination in which you (ideally) learn from the wrong ones and hone your idea of what your ideal mate would be like. One piece of advice, don't give up on what you're looking for. They are out there.

I met my soul mate (now my wife).

Yeah but everybody knows Grandma and Grandpa hated each other and slept in separate bedrooms for the last 30 years. At least that's how it was for mine.

A million fish in the sea! Don't just like her because she's pretty. You'll have a million chances with other pretty girls. Get to know her, an if you like her brain, or can even say that you know her on a first name basis, THEN say you're "in love with her".

Trust me, DON'T be with a girl just because she's pretty. Been there, done that.
