Folks -- thank you all very, very much for your considered and insightful input about the NYC headstock. GREAT STUFF and the comments almost exactly mirrored our own internal discussions about the topic that have been going on for well over a year. I will keep you posted!!
 
I am not 100% sure whether Tony's is 17.5mm or 16.5mm but it is definitely narrower than 19.0mm.

Matt uses our standard 19.0mm bridge but sets up at around 18.5mm on it...

Okay! Thanks. I recently played his bass and it was very nice smooth to play.

It Grey's bass also 16.5 mm?

Does Matt Garrison have 19 mm?
 
The Q6's are 16.5mm, so it would be pretty noticeably smaller if he had the same spacing. When I saw him live with it, it had the standard Fodera bridge and looked HUGE compared to his old Modulus, so I'd bet my pants on standard spacing.
