It's a great bass. It was owned and played by Mike Bendy (who worked at the shop for a while). He's a great player and sounded fantastic on this bass. I think you will dig it!

Here you go then :)

A while ago you said( well, obviously.. wrote in a post...) that there was an instrument in the works on which a couple of new for fodera things were going to be tried and possibly applied to a new AJ bass.
Any news on that instrument?
Is it possibly in the NB section already and I've just missed it?
:)

Curt and 5stringdan...thanks so much for the kind words. We really have a wonderful team of people here and I never feel like my work at Fodera is "work." Being involved here and helping to make positive change each and every day is a very special gift that I have been given and it always makes me smile when people notice that we are, indeed, improving.

Regards,

J

Jason,

speaking of your work at Fodera and, in other posts, the schedule - it seems that the one thing that is definitely behind schedule is your book ;)

So far I've heard that it's 33 scale 4-string Monarch shaped with a deep cutaway...

Hahaha- I would find that combination humorous. And then I would cry. Probably for a while.

Is Tony touring with any band beyond his own project these days? I actually preferred him over AJ in Hiromi's band (as blasphemous as it sounds).

I received my 6 string Matt Garrison finally last weekend, right timing for this...........The unboxing moment is amazing and simply WOW after first see the new baby!:eek: ) I actually video taped it... :hiding:

The bass sounds incredible, everything is attention to details, just some minor setups needed after a long flight. Vinny and the team completely nailed down what my requests, a compact 6 string with 33" scale length, 16.5 mm spacing, 5 string body.... They did it!! To those people who feel interested and curious how the 33" scale B string sounds, I can only tell it is AWESOME!!!

I don't know how to express my feeling and happiness on this bass... so here you go some pics.......
