Beautiful man, congrats!
Couldn't be happier right now! It will definitely make an appearance at the next NE gtg.

Shaking down the home studio with tracking for the new album. The YYD in a rough bounce from today. Running direct into a TH500 head, DI out of that into the Saffire 40 interface. Just a quick and dirty mix and there are plenty of clams. Not sure how much we'll use from today but always a learning experience.

Tony's new narrow 4-string will be in the Newborn Section by the end of the week...

The new Tony Grey Signature has been sighted... Looks nice! I imagined the cutaway to be a lot deeper though (was imagining an MG horn, lol)
As someone who sold his 4-string YYD to get a one-of a kind 6-string Fbass... I'm guessing that you just couldn't bring yourself to part with the box the Fbass came in then? [wink]
Teasing of course. My experience tells me they are BOTH great brands, builders and basses.
Be sure and tell your new buyer about Club Fbass so we can get him a number.
), but I don't think he spends much time on the forums of late. I'll give him a nudge to drop by, though. The new Tony Grey Signature has been sighted... Looks nice! I imagined the cutaway to be a lot deeper though (was imagining an MG horn, lol)
Tony went down from 6 to 4 on his Signature ???
Tony Grey Signature......Like I need more Fodera GAS!!!!!![]()
That is correct. I am certain that we will do a 6-string version of it sometime down the road, but his most pressing need right now was for a four strings, so that is what he got in line for us to build him. We had the great pleasure of spending several hours with him yesterday and oh man, did he make this 4-banger sing. It is such a rich sounding bass and in his hands it's really something special. He is in the process of finishing a whole series of instructional videos, books and recordings that he will be using this instrument for (among other things).
