Thanks so much for the kind words. It's really, really hard to call talking about building these wonderful instruments work! NOT! LOL...

As for Felix's bass...yes, it is going to be a monster. Lot's of fun specs and it will be played by one of our instrument's great young talents...

J

Thanks, it was a long wait but Jason, Vinny and Joey were Saints fielding all my spec questions both in person and via email and phone. Jason particularly..... only raves re customer service from me.

COOL! This bass is about as close to what mine will look like as I will see, until it's done (about 16 months out). The differences: Mine will have plain a Brazilian board, no markers at all, will have a ramp, and will have gold hardware. Other than that, pretty close!!

Q. Not even side-dots?

Chestnut & Claro Walnut are my fav's. I've often thought, wouldn't it be interesting to see "all" the Fodera basses that were crafted from that one Chestnut tree, lined up in the successive order they were created? That would take up a whole Chapter or more of "The Fodera Story" in itself.

Lovely Chestnut top.

Sometimes when you stare a little too long and hard at these tops you start to imagine characters or faces in the piece.

This one could be Donkey from Shrek or Porky Pig, after a night of debauchery, wakes-up the following morning with his snout trapped in the pups & strings..Can't you see it..LoL :rollno:

This is the top I'm looking for....

Oh man, he's so cute! and he's got a face fit for a top..LoL
No way can I let my daughter see this, she's making noises about wanting a pet dog.

Jakk, who's that holding your Imp II in the picture? Isn't the Imp II supposed to be the largest body type out of the models, but it looks pretty normal against the person holding it. Will it be a 5 or a 6er?

I'm not sure who's holding it, it's a 5 string, 33, 16.5, so it may be a tiny bit smaller....

Yep!.. I remember glancing the spec sheet, thanks for pointing out the page. I'm kind of digging the more compact body size and as you say it's 16.5 spacing so it should be nice and comfy. Have you ever posted pics of the Imperial in your profile shot?
