I sold my F Bass this past week, and I ended up shipping it to the new owner in the Fodera box that my YYD came in. I told the new owner that I was going to charge him extra for the box. He said he might mount the box on his wall, since its the closest he'll ever get to a Fodera. Funny stuff

Since your daughter wants a doggie, and you are in the UK, you should consider getting her the kind we have, a Pembroke Welsh Corgi. He's from your island, anyway, if not exactly London

They're a lovely looking breed, but I have to hide all doggie pictures, can't afford to get her over excited about pet's and were just getting over the goldfish era, that was bad enough...
If it gets really bad I'll buy her a nice hand-bag with a nice doggie picture..

Looks like your leading contender for this years award for "The Funkiest Fretboard."
We really need to see Stuebig's efforts to see if he's a worthy nominee..LoL

I did consider a thin line of pearl around the edge of the fretboard like the Anniversary bass Fodera they made. I'm not a good enough player to do without at least THAT much indication of where the frets are

Nice feature. That's something we see rarely get to see.

Fodera Funkiest Fretboard, I like it, sounds like a new thread, or just Funky Fodera.
I caught a guy in New York that had an Imperial, the neck pick up gone, empty cavity, 2 knobs, holes everywhere, Slapped to death, beat mojo, looked so cool, sounded really great.... They are out there...

My god this bass plays amazingly! Still postponing the initial thoughts/reviews....but I am in love with this bass so far....insanely comfortable to play!

As someone who sold his 4-string YYD to get a one-of a kind 6-string Fbass... I'm guessing that you just couldn't bring yourself to part with the box the Fbass came in then? [wink]

Teasing of course. My experience tells me they are BOTH great brands, builders and basses.

Be sure and tell your new buyer about Club Fbass so we can get him a number.
