Ferrari has been religion in my family as long as I can remember. That said watching Masa crash out and Alonso get taken by Sutil and Perez today...yuck!

Totally understand- I've always been much more the McLaren and Red Bull guy (because of Coulthard), on the whole. I had to change that a bit when Kimi was at Ferrari, but that was the closest I've been to rooting for the reds.

Although I worked for Toro Rosso for two years, working with their Italian driver, so there was a lot of Ferrari talk.

That all said, you're lucky Perez didn't do to Fernando what he did to others-who-shan't-be-named-for-nostatic. I about threw the computer when the tire was punctured!

I thinking also about a Fodera fretless.

I really like the sound of walnut body and tone block, ellite design (neck-through), ash neck and ebony FB.
(I think it is the specs of Christian MCBride's one)

I am waiting for the super top secret Fodera Standard fretless that Jason and team are considering building later this year. I cant justify a custom standard as I don't really play fretless enough. He mentioned potentially building a Standard fretless in this thread a couple of weeks ago.

Thanks for sharing! It's weird how being in front of a audience is less nerve racking than being in front of a camera that's recording.. You need a bigger practice space though:p
The bass (and your chops) sound great. The sound of a Fodera bass is what led me to order one. I wouldn't care if the tops of their basses looked like a turd..the sound is unmistakable and phenomenal.

The bolt-on has a dense piece of northern ash and a custom thick neck. That makes it thicker in the low department and has a natural compression. I can slap an whack it as much as I can without the bass distorting electrical as well as acoustical.
This deluxe sounds more neutral with less lows. The deluxe model sounds more hollow compared to the direct sound of the bolt-on.

Nothing can beat a good BO with Singlecoils ;)

The neck on my Viceroy BO is also a custom neck which is thicker (feels like a good PBass) while I went more narrow on the nut (while keeping the 19mm at the bridge) - it's simply the BEST neck that I've ever had in my hands.... it was like Vinny and Vadim would have taken my hand off and shaped the neck to it ... :) this was real magical...

Yeah, between Perez, Grosjean and Maldanado there's always something dumb happening in the pack. I actually really like McLaren a lot -- although I am sad that Lewis is now gone. I actually had the pleasure of being in the McLaren paddock last year in Austin when Lewis won -- that was pretty special!

I was a big fan of Perez last year and was hoping he was going to join Ferrari, but after seeing how he's been driving this year, I'm glad he's at McLaren. I think he'll get better as he matures, so I'm glad Maca is going to deal with his teething problems. As for the other two... fast drivers but they just seem to lack the ability to not hit things.

My favorite move of the race was the example set by Webber and Hamilton on how to attempt a risky pass and not crash each other out. Superior driving by both guys.

Jason, I know you're a Lewis fan as we've spoken about him before and I did not like him one bit at Maca, but I'm really starting to like him now that he's no longer part of the evil empire.

Crappy race for the reds and I'm happy to know Massa is ok. I just hope Canada is better for us and we can start taking it to the Red Cows...
