Fodera Club Part XXVI

I was wondering what are the best amp/cabinets for fodera basses in peoples humble opinions?

I have been looking at Glockenklang, Thunderfunk, and Walter Woods recently, but would love to get some insight from other people. I play a lot of funk and jazz. Lots of slapping and tapping.

My favorite with my ES5 is my mesa/boogie walkabout and PH210. Adds the right gutsy oomph with good clarity and honesty.

As long as you are a Club Fodera Member, you will be sent a Club Fodera email today (Thursday) with complete instructions for entering. The first step, however, is to make sure that you are a Club Fodera Member so that you get that email...

J

I'm still not 100% clear on the contest....is there an actual way to enter, or do you just have to be a club member and they pick randomly?

I'm almost ready to ask Jason about an update and just check in on my abnormally customized OCD bass. It's about 7 weeks away from completion I assume. I think they start carving the body about 4-5 weeks out.

Between my custom shaped Matt garrison double cut away bolt on, extended upper horn, specific neck shape with feeler gauges, moveable pickup tray, bridge placement, three way toggle switch, I can be pretty high maintenance. I've been good and left the shop alone since September though. I'm getting really excited about my "Swiss army knife" bass that should cover every conceivable tone I would like.

I just got off the phone with Glenn at Austin Bass Traders. This is surreal!! After 17 years of drooling and dreaming of Foderas it looks like I will be joining the club. Jason I look forward to talking to you soon.
