Fodera Ryan Martinie signature

Have you heard his band Soften the glare though?This is pretty funny because I get the feeling that folks are surprised he would have company associated with Fusion and studio players build a macho Metal man, like him, a bass.
Have been a fan since the LD50 days. Saw Mudvayne 6 or 7 times. Even got to open for Soften the Glare.
Ryan is definitely not your stereotypical "macho metalhead." He likes everything from jazz to metal. He's a super nice guy. Very into all kinds of art even Picasso. His "persona" with Mudvayne seems to me to be more like an artistic expression. Maybe a expression of his inner demons or something. I don't mean this in a bad way at all but He's actually a somewhat flamboyant and soft spoken guy. Was an honor to get to play a gig with him and talk shop and hang out. He's one of those examples where when you get to finally meet one of your music hero's and they are super nice and down to earth. Very very underrated player also. The mudvayne stuff was unique when they went big 20 years ago. But I have no idea how he plays full gigs of the soften the glare material, I mean its borderline inhuman some of the stuff he plays with that band.

You know, I've only ever heard cool things about him. Chad (Mudvayne's singer) is the only person who I've ever seen say something that wasn't positive (wasn't super negative; he just said Ryan can "go to some dark places sometimes") but everyone I've ever heard met the guy said he was the coolest.
First time I actually heard Mudvayne on FUSE TV...they were doing an interview and I was not that interested until I saw Ryan playing live. Since then, him and Matt (the drummer who's SUPER underrated) are my favorite rhythm section in Metal. Glad "Ryknow" is getting his due!
The Warwick situation is weird though. Not really "our" business, per se, but can't deny I'm wondering what happened. When the reunion first happened, Warwick/ Framus was promoting it on their You Tube and Instagram. I have to think something not so great went down...I find it hard to believe they wouldn't make him a signature model.
