my comment had to do with those white boys pretending to play funk...it could have been any color of boys, but these were white boys....we agree on that, right?

Vulfpeck IS funky, they groove hard, they have unique sound while taking (and giving a lot of credit) to funk OGs.

And even if they weren't now it gets funkier every time

I love me some Vulf, but I don’t care for this song and would agree this isn’t really funky (imo). They’ve got plenty of stuff that I think is though.

There is no denying they are talented. There is also no denying that the Fearless Flyers are more funky........... However...... this is the true sound (and sweaty ass look) of proper, undiluted, pure funk (and as a bonus it was the Rubber Bands first tour supporting Parliament and Sly Stone!!! )

not sure on this particular track but I believe he uses a jazz bass with ancient round wounds.
