I've never tried a Gould, as nice as they are (and being a fan of composite necks), but even though the Babicz is a bit ostentatious, I doubt it'll fade (like Wilkinson). What the Babicz lacks in form, it makes up for in function, imo. I had a bass that had one (didn't like the bass), and it couldn't have been easier to adjust. Although, I don't like the set positions for intonation...that isn't the best, for something that needs to be precise, not approximated.
