G&L Club Part 7

I always read it 'As a T' even if the name ASAT probably had other origins for real. It had to be something other than the T(elecaster) but couldn't hurt to keep it close. (To clarify this was simply my thinking and there is no source nor do I claim that CLF himself ever had the same line of thought.)
 
Well, whether it's natural, or a vintage tint from the factory, it looks fantastic.;)
From watching the pic it reminds me of my '78 and '74 Fender basses. If I remember correctly, when bodies already were finished with poly instead of nitro, the headstocks during the 70s still had a nitro finish applied for years because they had troubles with the decals when they sprayed with poly. Maybe G&L did the same in the earlier years?

Sacrilege?

I think the only thing considered sacrilege WRT G&L is swapping out the MFDs.
