These ARE the reissues of the old Legacy Bass they made in the early 90's.

Absolutely love my LB-100!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had one that was hands down the best "P Bass" I've ever owned. I foolishly sold it and have regretted it ever since. I'll be picking up at least one for rounds and one for flats in the future. Love seeing the pics of them in all these gorgeous colors.
I am absolutely loving mine as well!! I can't stop playing it. And I agree with you guys. This thing is very pretty as well!
On the website it said you can now get a 57 p type or 90s lb100 type pickup in your LB100
Wow! It seems obvious that the 57 p type will be getting probably the majority of orders. But it's very cool that they give you the option. Mine was built in 2016. I guess that means it has the 90s version? Either way, it sounds great! I am very pleased...

Can anyone tell me if there are any major difference between the various G&L P Basses? I have a SB2 with the MFD split pickup. The pickups are brighter then most other P basses I've played. It looks like the body and neck are the same on the SB1 and LB100. Is there much of a tone difference? I've also seen a few Legacy P Basses if anyone knows anything about them. Thanks
The SB1 has MFD pickups, which are WAY hotter than the pickups in the LB100. The LB is supposed to be much more similar to a Fender P Bass.
The only place I'm seeing that is on the "Custom Shop Bass Options" and not the regular US production options.
