G&L Club Part 7

That's correct. I bought an L-1500 in spring 2006, which had the old bi-cut neck construction and wasn't PLEKed, but it was returned due to a bad truss rod. The replacement neck from fall of 2006 was PLEKed, and wasn't bi-cut, so the transition was probably summer of 2006.

For whatever its worth, "Even Better than the Real Thing" and "Until the End of the World" off Achtung Baby are also groovy basslines

Definitely. For about a year, I was in a cover band that did "Until the End of the World," and it was one of my favorite tracks to play. Had the band survived, I was hoping to add "Even Better than the Real Thing" and a few other U2 tracks to our repertoire.

I've always thought that you were wise. This confirms it.

I forget who in this thread made the recommendation for a Two Notes Le Bass preamp, but I just picked it up yesterday and played it in my studio for way too many hours last night. This thing is amazing!

Also, preparing myself for a NBD, as UPS should be bringing my new SB-1 later today. I won't ever have to visit with my family ever again!

Please tell me you didn't just jinx yourself with a UPS prediction! It's not coming until some other day

That was likely me... and if it wasn't, it should have been, lol

I love my LeBass! How do you like the Fusion modes? I'm curious to hear which you prefer.

Pre-congrats! :bassist:

They tried to make it look like Sand people, but.... Bro... please... I think those blast points were a little to accurate for Sandpeople.
Accurate huh? You mean the guys that, literally, sent hundreds of blaster shots down range at Luke and never hit the untrained farm kid! Don't try and feed me that conspiracy crap about how they meant to miss because they were under orders by Vader, etc. to miss because he knew he was his kid. He didn't even know who he was through the first episode!
