If you really love your M2500; I see now flaw with your Tribute M2500 plan.
The L2500 is a pretty different bass. Dunno if you'd like that or not.
Fender make a great P5; and, if you get with Greg at Rocket Music, you might be able to order an L1005. Either of those would be great with flats.
Jazz basses should never get flats; at least, for me![]()
Hi, just a question for fellow GLeeks. If you are like me, you own several G&L basses. At this point in my life I am a hardcore hobbyist but I play my basses regularly. I am the proud owner of two Tribute L2000s, a fretless L2000 and a SB-2. If someone were to ask me which was my favorite, I'd have to say, the one I'm playing at that time. Tonight it was the black and maple Tribute, couple nights ago it was the fretless, you get the drift. Anyone else feel this way?

Looks to be that way. What's the rest look like?So I was looking at my new SB-2 that I posted above, and I think that my neck is quartersawn even though my build sheet doesn't say that it is. Can anyone confirm?
