That's how my G&L journey started: by dropping a split MFD into a Squier. It was love at first pluck.Wondering if anyone here has dropped the MFD pickups into a project bass?
The MFD pickups sound so amazing - was contemplating purchasing a set & maybe doing this sometime down the road.
And if they ever come out with MFD single coils, I will almost certainly try to fit a set into my Warwick Thumb.Wondering if anyone here has dropped the MFD pickups into a project bass?

I did the same, and put a MFD on my MIJ 88 Fender Precision. The result is stunning (especially considering the final cost of the bass)!
