Yes. It's not a bass I would have wanted to play sitting down.I see. Did you send it back because you didn't like the lack of contour?

G&L also added a binding, which I had not asked for. The overall effect of a very flat top with clear finish and a binding with a sharp radius was kind of strange, despite how gorgeous the top sheet and finish were.
Sure:Ah, I could imagine that being somewhat uncomfortable. You don't happen to have any pics, do you?

Maybe, but it's kind of perfect. I have a first-gen SB-2, a second-gen SB-2, an SB-1, and the Kiloton. They all have the same body. And, except for the SB-1, they even have the same neck width (the SB-1 is 1/16" wider at the nut), so it's super easy to switch from one bass to the next.Does look kind of weird, but not bad.
This could just be me, but the body of the Kiloton looks way more extreme when it's lefty. Almost looks like a different bass altogether.
I have to admit, it looks killer....So yeah, beautiful, but weird.
It did. But it felt wrongI have to admit, it looks killer....
I was in that situation many times, but it did not involve BassesIt did. But it felt wrong![]()
I agree, it did look killer. And it probably would have looked even killerer if the bass also had a maple fret board!I have to admit, it looks killer....
Nah, the blank ebony is the shizz. And it probably would have looked even killerer if the bass also had a maple fret board!
