If you don't want to spend $1170 for a new Berg CN212, this certainly looks like the next best thing for this type of cab.
From the descripts I've read on all the CN212 threads, I believe you could be correct. Now I was one that didn't like the tone of the AE cabs back when I tried one at local Houston store.
Seems the CN cabs have a different (better) tone than the AE's just from reading here. The NX2 really punches well in the mids, still with plenty lows when I dialed em in; I only play 5ers. Using a Streamliner 900, MB500 and Shuttle 9.2 with Aggie TH pre in the effects loop with this cab so far. Very nice and damn loud.
Was very close to ordering a CN cab, glad I saved a few bucks and darn happy with the Genz Benz NX2-212T. Plus I didn't realize I had like $30 Ebay bucks that applied, plus a good 'Make Offer' price and free ship; very happy with my new cab.
