Well this definately means more to me than anything alse to be honest. It doesn't really happen a lot of times to be able to directly speak to the company owners and engineers on forums like that.

You have certainly erased any doubts I may have :) Thank you so much for producing these wonderful pieces of equipment. I am sure there are literally tons of people appreciating this at least as much as I do.

I wish and hope to see you guys involved in the next big thing for us players as your equipment sure does make some awesome magic :)

Makes me want to get the 9.2 even more now :P

I picked up a Streamliner 900 as a backup for my Shuttle 9.0 around a month ago (keeping an eye on GB stuff since they are now in the heavens with SWR!). Gotta say I love this amp! Been using it more than the Shuttle. Been using it mainly with a Fender Rumble 1x12 cabinet that is rated to 500W @ 8 ohms....perfect with the Streamliner. Or for some extra sound, my MarkBass NY 2x12 which is a 4 ohm cabinet. Again a great pairing. Here are a couple of gig shots....

BTW, those orange things under the amp are street hockey pucks. Almost like acoustic foam, they isolate the amp from the vibrations of the cabinet and provide more air flow around the amp.

Maybe so, but extra air flow is always a better thing. Even more so when playing in the hot Florida sun. But mainly I do it to reduce the vibration of the amp. Something I learned from many years on the road. Will definitely extend the life of your amp and tubes.

I got a 9.2 Max as a backup for my 900. Originally I got a used Max 6.0 and liked it so much and knowing the differences between the Shuttle 6.0 and 9.0 (I was fortunate enough to have had both) I jumped at the chance to sell off my 6.0 and get a brand new 9.2. What great heads. The Max heads are like having 3 amps in one and so far both heads have been great with every cab I have paired them with....

Its a dream amp. Nothing like it, perfectly designed. I hope Mesa does a Mesamax although the facts are that the Streamliner outsold the Shuttlemax series by a HUGE number. Its too bad people dont take the time to learn how to master the controls... tons of "simple" amps on the market, Id LOVE another variation of this amp!

Well... I have run and do run my Streamliner 900 freaking LOUD into 4 ohms on outdoor festival gigs.. at times at sound check time the stage cover may not shield stage from direct sunlight So texas sun is beating down on top of the streamliner making the chassis Hot to touch, while it is sucking in 104+ degree air to cool it while i am slamming it LOUD into 4 ohms svt 810 cab ect... and it never sounded differently , and it Never shut down... The amps fans do all the cooling that it needs. It is Class D and put out hardly any heat on its own The tubes get hotter than the Output devices.
Absolutely no need add extra cooling ever.. .If you like ornamentation. that's cool. but you don't need anything extra....
I did a few 30,000 festival in Europe last year. .all out outdoors, direct sunlight at times.. not as hot as Texas outdoors....And the streamliner never failed.
Actually Hasbeen from Genz Benz once said that he would EAT a streamliner chassis if it ever overheated... I have yet been able to get him to do that. And i have tried!

I had a chance the play a shuttlemax 6.2 and own a streamliner 900. IMO, the streamliner just hit this amazing sweet spot for my tone and the 'max just didn't have the right warmth that I always want in my tone. I'm not slogging the Shuttlemax's at all, they are great amps; I just really dig the tone from the STM900.

I agree but for a cover band when I have to hit EVERY tone imaginable. the 9.2max is king & theres noone even close

and you still have all your teeth ( from not ever needing to eat the chassis) and no metal fibers to eliminate Ouch hahha...:woot::woot::woot::roflmao:
The Genz amps take a lickin and keep tickin.. In fact my friend owns another well know brand of amp that kept dying on him . asked if he could borrow one of my GB amps recently to get him through till his came back from repair for the 3rd time.. i said sure...
Because as i told Andy a few times .. "If i cant break it No One can.. "!!
Not because i am abusive at all. Its just that i work my stuff ALLOT and it gets handled by many different people.. and i like to play LOUD when i am able too..
I did have to send the amp back for one repair. not the amps fault.. it was totally mine.. face drop onto the ground with jack in place makes for a nice lever to move stuff inside around! Haa... But it still worked...
way outside the warranty....:cautious:

No sir, this is not an accurate statement. There is zero benefit to additional airflow, the internal airflow is carefully structured to provide the proper cooling and thermal gradient structure to the amplifier system.

I'm so glad I had my first gig with this thing 2 weeks back, before then it was only church gigs. It performed so well I'm totally amp gassless right now. I had sold my Shuttle 6.2 & was going to get a different backup but to heck with it.

Next amp is a Mesamax. Gotta be dual channel 4 band EQ with footswitch. The Streamliner has the warm tube tone simple thing covered
