Heck, throw the Shuttle 1x12 extension cab in there. That is one heck of a cab in its own right.

This Uber212 tone sounds very promising! I run a Shuttle 6.0 through an Epi UL2-410 (love it) and have played it through the Berg AE410 as well. Both are excellent cabs and I've been a 410 guy for years but a 12 has a little more meat and less snap to it than a 10 from the same line, making for a real solid tone. I've thought that a NeoX112 on top of a NeoX212 driven by a Shuttle 12.0 Max would provide a tall lightweight stack with a nice balance of focus and low end. Something with a little more focus than the Epi UL-410, a little deeper than the Berg AE410, and minus the Neo honk would be perfect. The tall format is nice for hearing yourself up close. Dennis, did you notice any difference being able to hear yourself onstage with the Uber212 versus the Neox212 or a stack of 2 NeoX112's?

I have been playing through the Uber 212 for about an hour with my fretless Ken Smith 5 and this is an amazing cabinet. For once I have the horn set at about 10 OClock where I normally have it almost off. The voice of this cabinet is definately a darker voice which I love. The tone is clean and fat with a very old school 215 thump while remaining clean and clear ( the Genz trad mark as far as I am concerned). I clear dark sounding cabinet that is crystal clear in the full range of the bass. The low end is tight and the top is is fat...What else could you want? This one is the bomb for... you might want to really find one to play for yourseld. just bring your check book because you will want it to go home with you. I am powering with the Shuttle6.0 dead flat... no global filters at all.

This cabinet sounds nice. I just saw the Uber 410 two days ago and it blew me away, but I really like 12's. Just for reference, what 212 does this thing sound closest to? Eden, Aguilar, etc. I may have one of he first of these.

My 212T's sound awesome with my B1500 head, so I'd have to be really impressed with what I hear from the Ubers. I heard the Uber 410 at a store and was not blown away but to be fair I did not spend but a min or two with it back then.

Unfortunately, stores don't let people open them up and secondly, people listen to them at arms length because they're eq'ing at the same time.

The Uber is a much thicker/fuller sounding cabinet. I love the neoX212 but the fatness of the Uber just turns me on bigtime.

I will try to get video up for it. My son borrowed the camera I always use to film video with I need to get it back from him... or shoot with another camera.

Anther thing to think about is the fact that you really don't need to eq these cabinets... well let me rephrase that... I find no need to eq it at all. I don't even use the global bass boost.

Fretless & Hasbeen - on the subject of Ubers, I haven't found a single post on the 2x10 cab. Does it sound like half of the 4x10 or does it have it's own voice? I'll be @ NAMM in two weeks, but I'd love to hear your take on it.

First of all... I would love to be at N.A.M.M. in 2 weeks myself...
I haven't been able to get my hands on an Uber210 to hear in person. I think the 210 under the 210 would be the bomb if it does sound like the 410 in half. ! uber210 would be the perfect addition to any cabinet ( a 112 or 212).

That sounds like it may be exactly what I'm looking for. I love the snappiness and clarity in my NeoX212, but I did a fly-in gig a few months ago with an eden setup (WT800 and 410XLT) that had a really nice thick low end that I enjoyed (but I never could get the higher-range focus out of it that the NeoX has). So ever since I played the eden rig, I've felt the neoX was lacking a little bit at the bottom, although I'm still very happy with it.

I have a feeling that very soon I'll be replacing my GBE750 and NeoX212 with a Shuttle 12.0 and Uber212 (or maybe 410).
