I would be torn with a Shuttle12 Max... iether a pair of Uber212's or an Uber410 and an Uber212. The Uber 212 is some what remeniscant of the Eden 212XLT but the the focis and clarity of the Uber212 is superior. Ultimately I would love to get a 4 ohm Uber210 to run with the 112 or Uber212

So ever since I played the eden rig, I've felt the neoX was lacking a little bit at the bottom, although I'm still very happy with it.

I have a feeling that very soon I'll be replacing my GBE750 and NeoX212 with a Shuttle 12.0 and Uber212 (or maybe 410).

See, I think part of what I liked about the 410XLT was simply that it was a 410. A bigger cab, more speakers, more surface area... everything about that cab just says "lots of low end." At some point I'm just gonna take my rig into my favorite GB dealer and A/B some stuff... Ideally, I'm looking for a "Modern Vintage" sound. I want old school meatiness without any tubbiness, combined with modern clarity and punch without any zing. I have the 2nd part nailed, but still have a little work to do on the 1st part.

The 410xlt should really be described "lots of low-mid" and with a conservative low end. The 410xst on the other hand is a very smooth and deep sounding cab. I like them both but for different applications.

I don't think so. Only one two people here have played the Uber 212...me and agedhorse. When voicing it, the Mesa wasn't on our radar.

The 6.0 or 12Max would be a wonderful combination. The eq section will be amazing but the fact is this...dead flat including the bass has been my setting.

How in the heck did I miss the start of this thread?? Guess I've been practicing too much! :eek::bassist:

I really want to add an Uber 212 to my Uber 410. I love the tone of the 410 and it is nothing short of HUGE with virtually no honk in the upper mids. I love my 410 in the rock band I am in. BUT, I also love the fatness of 12s as well.

I can't help but think that an Uber 410/212 stack would just be monstrously delicious!

I am wondering now, though, that given there will be no 8 ohm 212, if the mismatch in power per speaker (with a 4ohm 410) will negatively affect the balance of such a stack. Of course, the solution to that would be a Shuttle 12 that drives each speaker with its own output, but I would surely have to sell my GBE 1200 to afford that solution.

Any thoughts from the guys at Genz on this?

P.S. Keep up the great work guys!!

no mismatch at all...they're designed to go together and they're both 4 ohm cabs.
