Genzler Amplification Club

Tell ussssss! We wants to know!

Seriously, you can't come in here and drop a teaser like that with no follow up. GIVE UP THE INFO!!

Yeasss precious....

Jeff has made me swear a blood-oath (don't be fooled by the affable, friendly demeanor.... the man is a savage, brutal killer when roused..)

Don't worry friends, you wont have long to wait ;-)

Interesting. I'm going to be in the market soon for a new amp and cab. Magelan 800 is a definite as is the 12-3 but I'd like to know what the new one is.

You will NOT be disappointed in the Magellan 800. Hand's down the best Amp I've owned in this format and the inheritor to the Genz Benz throne in my world.

This is just my speculation but if I were the gambling type, I would bet on an expansion of the "Array" line of cabinets. Again, this is just my assumption based on the reviews, sales, and general reception of the BA12-3.
I could see a 4 ohm, 2x12 variant which would allow buyers to buy a lower cost 2x12 (as opposed to buying two BA12-3 cabs) and still allow for 2.67 ohm expansion by buying and adding another single BA12-3.

Small gig = MG800 and single BA12-3
Medium/probably most bar and club gigs = MG800 and BA 212-3
Big Hoggin' "better wear ear pro" LOUD gig = MG800 and BA 212-3 + BA12-3

Just my $.02 as usual.

I finally got to play my new MG800 at rehearsal last night with my cover band. I was using a Fender Rumble V3 210 cab, and man did this amp impress! I set it mainly flat with a tweak of the low mids, and one of Contour B I think. It was definitely different than my prior STM-900 but in a good way. It was able to go deep, but much more defined. I can't wait for the next band gig on the 17th.

I'll take a number, if I can have #33. My son's college baseball Jersey #. :)
