Yes... it is, yet only virtually.
Yet I really enjoy the TB hang, but mostly quietly in the corner. I tend to keep quiet until I have something to add.

I really enjoy being in a person's presence and getting to know them.
The internet back/forth is only virtual.
But NY is a bit of a trek from CO. Jeff seems like a great guy so I can only "admire from afar".
I did get to speak with Jeff on the phone the other day with a minor Genzler problem I'm experiencing, and he gave a helpful suggestion which I still need to work on (I need time). It was a pleasure to speak with him.

Hi everyone!

Quick question. Does anyone know if the fx return input on the new Kinetix amp can take a lot of signal?

For smaller gigs with my own rig (currently GR 210V and GR Pure Amp 800) I'd like to connect the end of my board which I normally use with backline amps > Kinetix FX return > GR 210V.

My Bass is a passive P Bass with Bill Lawrence pickups, and I like to use a MOOG MF-101 on my board to drive the signal.
On my small mackie mixer at home if I use the MOOG I normally have to reduce the gain on the mixer by -20dB in order for it not to clip.

Any info greatly appreciated!!

Darn right. Mine small stack did marvelously at an outdoor gig yesterday, but they always deliver. I’ve never had a bad stage amp experience with any Genz product.

On the back of the amp it has this written:
"RECEIVE (POWERAMP IN) (LINE LEVEL)"

The Kinetix manual says the following, but doesn't give numerical figures in terms of specs for the fx loop.

1.
EFX LOOP – A rear panel effects loop (SEND and RECEIVE jacks) is provided for connecting “serial” outboard devices such as compressors ... This loop is located right before the MASTER volume control and is also intended as a Preamp Out / Power Amp In connection for possible “chaining” of amplifiers in a Master / Slave configuration. The effects loop contains a “normal switch” in the RECEIVE jack that interrupts the signal path when a plug is inserted into the RECEIVE jack. The SEND jack may be used for an aux. output without breaking the signal path.

2.
MASTER – This control adjusts the overall volume of the amplifier and also adjusts the input level of the EFX LOOP RECEIVE and AUX IN jacks. Typically, the best results are obtained when this control is operated between the 9:00 and 3:00 positions.

Hello @ One Two --- thanks for your interst in the Kinetix 800. I believe your Moog MF 101 should work fine in the Effects Loop of the amp. Looking at the spec sheet for the Moog, it has Input and Output controls which should allow you to keep your level in an appropriate range and should work fine with the Line Level of the effects loop.

@Djadja ---Great, simple discussion. It is most interesting the way he has boiled down all of the technical measurements to the most important element, our ears and how we hear sound with these 2 measurment devices. So much of what he discusses does have a direct corrrelation to the BASS ARRAY cabinet design AND most importantly --- using the Line Array for the frequencies we've chosen, and NOT the full spectrum of the audio signal.

In general, with product design we discuss this all the time particularly when discussing "flat" response. Our ears are not flat response measuremeant devices, and their location on our heads as well. Generally we seem to hear mid frequencies much easier than those on the extremes, and at the far extremes we"feel" those response more than hear them --- other "human" measurement devices are involved there. Not human, but think of the elephants. Check that out.
