It's not delivery, It's Di Gior.....never mind. It's one of the main reasons I live in the country...generally just dont choose to see or hear other people. It's a GOF/curmudgeon thing. The only downside is no pizza delivery.

I'm kinda with you at this point. I lived in Philadelphia, right in the city, for a decade. I loved it there. But right now, I'd so prefer to just never have to deal with anyone in my immediate vicinity, ever again. I'd so love it if no one ever got on my lawn in the first place. It's one of the main reasons I live in the country...generally just dont choose to see or hear other people. I swear, the entire state of California sits atop one enormous ant colony. They're not fire ants, but they are everywhere and impossible to wipe out.It seems the only ones that get on my lawn are the &!^@%#$ fire ants.![]()
My dad had a foolproof way of eliminating unwanted bugs. The A-B block method: Place critter on block A, smash with block B.I swear, the entire state of California sits atop one enormous ant colony. They're not fire ants, but they are everywhere and impossible to wipe out.

Our country has become a place where eveyone has rights to do whatever they want (and/or excuses are made for bad/illegal bahvior) except when it comes to those of us who are law abiding taxpayers (i.e. the bill payers). The cops don’t do anything, neither does the school. Unless of course something happens to these children.
They go around in groups of fifty or so, singing drinking songs related to their frosh activities or whatever makes noise. Multiple groups at any time. They want everyone to know that they are there and groups are competing with one another to make their presence known. They won’t even move over on the sidewalk for people.
We’ve live around here for 45 years. It never used to be like this. It seems to get worse every year.
:: grumble :: Brand New Key has been an earworm for days now. And never owned a Melanie record.
It's now battling it out with George Benson's version of "This Masquerade," which has been in there non-stop since I played it with my jazz standards guy on Thursday. I'm doomed.I had the good sense not to click that link. Not that it might not have happened anyway. Oh, lordy, I can already hear it starting up in my head. Have to go listen to something else now to get rid of it.
