I think the bass lines for The Clash songs is easier than White Wedding as far as speed. Went onto Space Oddity to give my right arm a break. It's still feels like it ran a Marathon.

Here is something that I found, I can only imagine just how much work went into preparing for this.
By all rights I should be grumpy as heck, but I'm actually in a decent mood. So far this week, I found out I have a UTI and probable kidney stone on Monday, verified it on Tuesday by passing a small boulder, and now I'm sitting at the doctor's office waiting for a cortisone injection in my knee.

Nothing to be Grumpy about today. Made it to 65. Feeling good. I see a beer in my future!
Just got done mowing the grass.. I still do it with a push mower, meaning I push it!

Spent the last couple evenings training my new horse to ground drive, then working cattle for a couple hours. The best team roper of the group is in his middle 70's and still shoeing horses. Hope I can last that long in that good shape!
Just got back from a road trip with my wife and daughter. We were able to swim (snorkel) with the whale sharks. An awesome experience. For information: the whale shark is the worlds largest "fish" as opposed to mammal. The ones we saw were about 15 to 27 feet long and can grow to 45 feet long. They kinda looked like big catfish with a toothless mouth about 3 to 3 1/2 feet wide. There was a guy in a small boat feeding them to keep them in the viewing area. They seemed very inquisitive as they would swim up under us to see what was going on. The funniest part was when it was time to leave I couldn't hoist my fat ass into the outrigger canoe that brought us out. I wound up swimming the 150 yards back to shore with my bum knee. Had to swim with only one flipper. Nice underwater view on the way back, though.

Brother Spakda, I was just thinking I hadn't heard from you in a while. Glad you are well and had a great trip! I didn't know they had many whale sharks in the "Deep South" of the Phils. It's a big tourist industry in Bicol. For those who have not seen the beauty of these endangered critters, up close or by the Internet:

A visit is definitely on my bucket list! Always learn something from you, this time it's get a big bonka!
Last time I was in a small bonka boat was going across Taal lake to ride a kabayo up the volcano. That is a sight to see. It's the worlds smallest active volcano. When you look down into it, you see a small lake with a micro island in it. That is a very small island, in a small lake, in a small volcano, on a small island, in a large lake, on a large island, in a large ocean, on a medium sized planet. When it gets grumpy, they evacuate the volcanic island. During modern history, no one on the small island has survived. People go down into the sulfur lake and swim for fun or magical healing. I didn't. Interestingly, as I was admiring the view, two WW2 fighters in beautiful condition flew over nice and low. What a sight! There is a flight museum somewhere nearby. Snorkeling in the area, in a reserve, we had a larger bonka boat, over ten years ago. I don't think I could do as well getting in and out today. Also rented a jet-ski, which was a hoot on the ocean waves.
