I zoomed into under the white wire terminal and this is what I saw.

I know it's in there because it definitely changes the tone using the treble/mid/bass controls. But it's much less volume than passive, and the bass is deeper on passive.

All I see is a little alien face with its hair parted down the middle.

Is the Ibby set up like EMG, with the preamp itself inside the pickup housings, so the harness (except for the battery wiring) looks just like a passive one?

And as regards Venus on the Halfshell, it is possible for an unclothed lady to appear marginally modest behind a guitar body. I know this to be true as of this morning, and not even sure why I know this.

I hate it that TB only allows one hour after posting to edit and correct spelling mistakes. The current limit doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

I'm not saying you or anyone else here does it, but on some forums, when people get involved in one of those conversations, someone will post something wrong or offensive, get called out, then go back and edit said post. As a trivial made up example "all bass players have smelly feet" post, someone replies " I don't", and the OP goes back and changes the "all" to "most" or "some" to get him or herself off the hook. Putting a time limit on edits prevents this.

One is, of course, able to post self corrections and "my bad" replies.

As David said, that's likely to be a job for an actual tech with an actual in-person working view. Sorry for your hassles Will, and IMO that's just more reinforcement for never buying without trying in person.

The oath of office and the difference between right and wrong doesn't seem to mean a lot to many elected officials and judges. They fail by example. I couldn't agree more...while I'm not totally illiterate or poor at spelling, I'm terrible at typing! For some reason I see my typos more easily after I have been away from the material for a while. Years ago someone suggested that to find typing errors one should read the text from the end and work forward. That way your brain will not automatically correct what you see to match what you meant.

I'll offer this as evidence that your brain doesn't always help you with typos as much as you might expect when reading something top to bottom:

People type faster than they can think. That's the problem. Nothing wrong with an edit to clarify what was intended. Often after a post, I need to leave to attend to other things. When I come back, it's too late. In my case, I'm talking about spelling mistakes or words that autocorrection has substituted in.

I find that a well written comment can take some revisions to message into what was intended. Locking text in stone only inflames things. Why not then, allow for a means to delete a post. it can be messaged and reposted.

Agreed. As I get older my typing gets even worse, which is really saying something. I really need to work out a way to disable "autocorrect", at the least.

Adding my $.02, I've found that on some sites, there doesn't seem to be a time limit for things like typos(I'm type AB+). Other sites, it's almost immediate and PM's give you ~3minutes. I nearly always proofread-and still f---* up. It should be the same across the board. Oh, well.
FWIW, I'm a 2 or 3 finger typist. Index or 'bird' finger on right does typing, index on left does 'shift'.(Right index does backspace-a lot)

Facebook gives you FOREVER to change your posts. And they have a BILLION users. It's not like we're all in a mass conspiracy to constantly change our posts! It makes sense to leave the posts open to change them as needed. Many times I go back to find embarrassing errors in my grammar or spelling. Even if I said something silly and was called on it, I'd still own it-- It would seem dumb to change the opinion after I've made it. One hour isn't enough time for changes.
