I've got a box full of old ones (yeah, THAT old) buried somewhere. You're all making me want to see if they stiil work.

I had a Purple Owsley once.
I had one (might still be around, somewhere) in the '70s, a Whirlwind.
There are many available in all price ranges today. Some of the higher end ones look very good. Mine are made by Ernie Ball and Fender

The three stooges of cords. A Larry cord is Fine. Then there’s a Curly cord. Moe is the longer cord.

I stole this from another thread, these guys could sing, especially the lead singer, she hit notes like a jazz singer. I never liked the recorded version either. Nice Burns guitars too, I've always wanted a Burn Bison bass.

In those days I played a Farfisa and a Wurlitzer combo organ. I didn't have any curly cords and neither did our bass player. The two guitarists, though -- man, it was almost like a contest between them as to who would show up to a gig with the longest cord. One memorable time, when they both could have strolled deep into the dance floor with the length of the cords, the drummer -- the drummer!-- looked back and forth between them, shook his head and said, "You guys are idiots."

Mountain's 'Mississippi Queen' is a 70s rock anthem.
One of my favorite concerts (of the many) that I attended was in 1996. It was an outdoor concert at Val Du Lakes Amphitheatre in Northern Michigan. The band line-up was Black Oak Arkansas, Orleans, Iron Butterfly, Mountain (with Leslie West), and Foghat (with the original line-up).
