Wow! Did I miss something, or what! I DJ'd the 7pm TNT (Top Nine Tunes) show on the local AM radio station while in high school. My brother was the news reader. We never had any female guests, 'cause we never had any guests!Sorry, I'm calling it:

There ain't a single [bleeping] thing that goes on in a radio station that can be described as "innocent," least of all involving female guests of disc jockeys after business hours.
Mind you, I'm not saying it's wrong, necessarily...
...just not "innocent."

They had to pay to rerecord everything!

I'm gonna go with "sounds like it."Wow! Did I miss something, or what!

Me likey! A lot!A commercial fisherman friend of mine called and offered a special discount on king crab today. We have to go down to the local fishermen's dock between 12-5pm today. He'll knock off the body for us and we have a large pot for cooking the crab up.

So basically you need to be a Bond supervillain for an everyday view like this.

Not as legit, but I used to buy a couple of lobsters from the Legal Sea Foods store at Logan Airport in Boston when flying back to Chicago. I'd call the now ex, and she'd have a pot of water boiling when the limo got me home. I liked that they also included some seaweed. Added a bit of flavor.

There's a bunch of those in Mass. I don't remember ever going there even though I love fish, we have one called The Sole Proprietor in Worcester that's very good.
The Clam Box in Ipswich is more than well-regarded.
Boston always feels to me the flip side of the coin of Dublin.
and we tell these stories to our children and grandchildren as if they're entirely normal![]()
You don't mean to say that those stories were made up, do you? Why, that's crazy talk!
No way!!
Our grandparents, definitely walked 10 miles to school, in the snow. Just like we had to get up and change the channel on the TV, carry change, for pay phones, turn in soda pop bottles for deposit, and use encyclopedias for research. Right like any of that really happened!
