I forgot to mention that Lincoln Ware used to say that during his weekend shows on WCIN. It was Cincinnati's R&B station. They had cheesy DJs, but they played great music.

Wow! Did I miss something, or what! I DJ'd the 7pm TNT (Top Nine Tunes) show on the local AM radio station while in high school. My brother was the news reader. We never had any female guests, 'cause we never had any guests!Sorry, I'm calling it:

There ain't a single [bleeping] thing that goes on in a radio station that can be described as "innocent," least of all involving female guests of disc jockeys after business hours.
Mind you, I'm not saying it's wrong, necessarily...
...just not "innocent."
And never got the chance. We both got fired. Everything was on reel-to-reel tape back then. We reused them, using a bulk eraser at the end of the broadcast day, so the day crew had fresh tapes.
Welp, the station changed call letters when they added an FM station, so they recorded all new station jingles. And placed them on a tape reel. With no label. And left it in the stack with other tapes. Which all got bulk erased by my brother, like he was supposed to.
Of course, the station owners hadn't bothered with a backup.
They had to pay to rerecord everything! Since I refused to rat out my brother, they fired us both.
A$$holes.

Not as legit, but I used to buy a couple of lobsters from the Legal Sea Foods store at Logan Airport in Boston when flying back to Chicago. I'd call the now ex, and she'd have a pot of water boiling when the limo got me home. I liked that they also included some seaweed. Added a bit of flavor.

That's after a few Jell-O shots
On the whole, the risks of being a Bond girl greatly exceed the benefits of being a Bond girl.
There's a bunch of those in Mass. I don't remember ever going there even though I love fish, we have one called The Sole Proprietor in Worcester that's very good.

The Clam Box in Ipswich is more than well-regarded.
Boston always feels to me the flip side of the coin of Dublin.

and we tell these stories to our children and grandchildren as if they're entirely normal
ps. I have taken considerable delight in proving to my sons that I did walk to high school, uphill both ways.
Whenever they wanted to pull my chain, they'd call me old and bring up all the standard "back in my day" tropes, as if I had actually said any of them.
During a visit to their grandfather, in the city where I attended high school, they were shown how his house and my high school were situated 4 miles apart, with a huuuuge hill in between. So, coming or going, I was walking uphill, at least halfway.
